From the very second the doctors handed me Jasper I knew everyone was in trouble. I went so overboard with stressing over a schedule I made everyone miserable. Looking back now I laugh. Jasper was a terrible sleeper so I was sleep deprived, crazy, and on edge. I had times that people could come and visit, which isn't a terrible thing but I refused help. I wish I would have allowed everyone to come clean, cook and help me with Jasper. I just felt like I had to do everything on my own.
As the months have rolled by I realize that Jasper is so far from a baby on schedule and I am relaxed now. My three things that I stick to are- only two naps a day, no naps past 5pm and bed time is always 9pm. He seems to follow these three things just fine and we go about our day in his awake hours playing, learning, and exploring new things. I try my best to be the best mom that I can, and I live by mommy knows best.
Mommy ALWAYS knows best!

7 Months and Moving Right Along...
My first post, of course, has to be about Jasper. I have nothing more interesting to talk about anyway. So we have been living in Grundy, VA for three months now and those three months have flown by! CJ, my husband, is in law school here and the semester is almost over with. I can't believe it! But back to Jasper...
Jasper's 7th month of life began on November 1st. He has conquered so many milestones this month! I took him to Sears to have his monthly picture made and the photographer asked me if Jasper was mobile, I said no. To my surprise as I placed Jasper on his belly to have a tummy shot he raised up and CRAWLED! Mommy cried. He is everywhere now. I can not stop him!
His newest addition is a bottom front tooth. He worked really hard on getting that tooth, many sleepless nights, grumpy days, and gnawing on everything and everyone had to take place in order to gain the pearly white. I personally would like to thank Hylands teething tablets and infant Tylenol. Without you guys, gosh, where would we be?? But really the teething tablets are the BEST! His little tooth has made its appearance and I could not be prouder. It must be a mommy thing to be proud of a tooth.
I have enjoyed these past few months, watching my little man change and develop into an explorer. I must continue to baby proof! He puts everything into his mouth, licks the floor, pulls on every cord, and by passes all of his toys to the more dangerous things in the house. It must be something a baby is coded for, to look for really dangerous objects and play with them.
I have so much more to share but my little 7 monther is NOT, I repeat NOT, sleeping through the night so sleep is precious for our household. So to maintain my sanity I must be off to bed.
Please leave comments/suggestions, I love blogging and can talk BABY all day long!
